"Great car I own a 735i with a manual gearbox, its done over 265 000 miles and the engine is running better than ever. The only work done to the engine since 1988 is a waterpump, belts and oil changes also I get 28 to the gallon. Best car I've had yet."

"I agree, I'm on my 2nd BMW 7 since 96 since I bought my first one which was an 88 735. My current 7 and by far the best car I've ever owned in my nearly 30 years of driving, is a 90 735iL. The comfort, performance and mpg (fuel economy) can't be beaten. It's got just over 220 on the clock and I could not be more pleased with it. No major engine issues in the 4 years I have owned it. Other than minor part replacement, it's been problem free."
